Terms & Conditions

These Terms are entered into between Valora Foundation, a legal entity established in Belgium at 2000 Antwerpen Belgium ("Valora", "we"), and the member who registers on this website ("you").

Membership is voluntary and personal. It begins when you complete registration, provide the required consents and pay the applicable registration fee and first annual contribution. Membership continues on an annual basis and renews automatically unless cancelled.

Fees are shown in EUR and displayed on the pricing page. The registration fee is one-time and age-based. Annual contributions are billed via SEPA Direct Debit or card through Stripe. You authorise Valora to charge the payment method on file at each renewal until you cancel.

Services include repatriation, ceremony coordination and administrative assistance as described on the Services page. Standard plans exclude burial costs; Premium plans include burial. Coverage becomes fully effective from the second membership year.

You have the right to withdraw from your membership within 14 days of registration without giving any reason, by emailing info@valorafoundation.com. If you have requested services during the withdrawal period, we may retain the pro-rata cost of any service already delivered.

You may cancel your membership at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation stops automatic renewal; you retain access until the end of the paid period. Amounts already paid are non-refundable except as required by mandatory Belgian consumer law.

By adding a family member you confirm you have the legal authority to share their data with us. Children under 18 registered as covered dependents are only bound by these Terms through their legal representative.

Processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

To the extent permitted by law, Valora's aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or personal injury caused by negligence.

We may amend these Terms with 30 days' notice by email. If you do not accept the amendment, you may cancel your membership before it takes effect and receive a pro-rata refund of the current year's contribution.

These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Consumers may bring a dispute before the competent Belgian court or via the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
